THE PRINCESS MURAT NGO

The Princess MURAT NGO is a non-profit NGO whose purpose is to promote access to health, education, nutrition and first aid for women and children in need, distress, extreme poverty, and health hazards anywhere in the world.

It is also intended to promote sustainable development and ecology, which are essential to ensure that all forms of aid are sustainable in the long term.

The NGO "Princess MURAT" in their French and Peruvian versions pursue the same objectives.

The Princess MURAT founded the NGO in 2017, taking again the objectives of the one founded back in 1991 in Peru by her father under the name of DSD (Development Solidarity  and Democracy).

The Princess MURAT is a member of the Imperial family of France and Royal of Naples, which has profoundly marked Universal History, and who has been able to adapt to the challenges and struggles of the 21st century.

The Princess MURAT, with her experience of living in an emerging country, but also as a mother and professional, has for several years engaged in a struggle for access to care for the poorest, but also for the empowerment of women.

She also participated alongside Professor Ameissen in the long and difficult campaign for the recognition, by the French Health Authority, of the therapeutic qualities of Baclofen.

From this came the creation of the NGO and "The Princess MURAT Award", whose first edition will be dedicated to women's health.

This Prize will devote a work completed or in progress, in the framework of the objectives defined by the statutes of the NGO.
